HANDRAILS: The entrance has handrails. Each float room and the sauna shower area are equipped with grab-bars. Our barrier-free washroom also has a grab-bar.

HALLWAYS: All passages, hallways and thoroughfare are a minimum of 42" and meet barrier-free widths where required (leading to washrooms, fire exits).

There is client parking in the lot. Please use the parking spots directly in front and to the right side of Surface Float, as the ones to the left side of the whole building belong to the other tenant businesses.

Surface Float is designated as a quiet, phone-free zone. The float rooms are sound-proofed. The lobby area will have a normal level of noise due to in-person or phone conversations.

DOORS: There are doors to all washrooms and float rooms and to the offices/massage suites. All doors have levered-handles.

WASHROOMS: Surface Float has three non-gendered washrooms, and one is barrier-Free.

We have two options available for floating. One is an open-style float tank and the other is a pod-style float tank. If you require assistance to get in and out of the float tanks, please let us know ahead of time. We highly encourage you to bring a companion to assist you as our staff are not able to aid in lifting or transferring.

The lobby is well-lit with natural light as well as interior lighting. The sauna and shower area is well lit. The multipurpose studio is equipped with dimmable lighting. The hallways and thoroughfares have lighting. The float rooms are equipped with motion sensors that turn the lights off once you are settled and ready for your float.

you have full control of the lights in the float tank. You will be shown the button which is easily accessible from within the tank.

Surface Float has a waiting area with comfortable seating to accommodate clients before and after their appointments.

Surface Float does not offer food serving. We have a variety of teas available for our customers.
